(Ladies and gentlemen.Good afternoon.Today I鈥檒l tell you a tale story.It is 鈥淧eter and the Wolf鈥?)
Peter:Good morning everyone.What a fine day!
How beautiful the green lawn is!How clear and blue the sky is!
Bird:Good morning,Peter.
Peter:Good morning,Bird.
(After saying 鈥淗ello鈥 to the beautiful kind bird,Peter plays near the poll which is beside his house.)
Bird:It鈥檚 a fine morning,isn鈥檛 it?All is calm.All is beautiful.
It must be a lucky day for me!
Duck:I鈥檓 a duck,you see.Peter forgot to lock the door.
Now I鈥檓 free.Now I want to have a good bath in the pool!
(Duck jumps into the pool as what she said.The bird is so surprised to see the duck who she has never seen before.She looks at the duck carefully but only finds that there鈥檚 little difference between a bird like herself and a duck like the one in front of her.Although her mind is filled with confusion,she still chooses a gentle way to begin their conversation.)
Bird:Hi!Who are you?Can鈥檛 you fly?
Duck:My God!Aren鈥檛 you a bird?From my own experience,flying is not always the
best way to elapse.You can鈥檛 swim?You see.I can.And I swim rather fast.
(Perhaps the honesty of the duck hurts the bird in a way,she responses immediately.)
Bird:You are a fool.There鈥檚 no doubt that flying must be the best.
Duck:Haha,I鈥檓 a clever duck..But you see ,you are such a fool that asked me
a stupid question just now.
Bird:You are a fool!
(The bird replies angrily.)
Duck:I鈥檓 clever.You are just a fool.
(At this time,a black cat is coming quietly.The bird and the cat totally pay no attention to the surroundings in which the danger is coming to them .)
Cat:Yes.They are quarrelling.So I have no trouble catching them.God is so merciful
to give me such a sumptuous meal!Can鈥檛 I miss it?Look at me,please.
Peter:Take care,Bird.Be careful,bird.
(The bird flies away at once after hearing the warning from Peter.It seems that she is looking forward to proving her ability of flying to the duck ,she acts as quickly as she could.)
Cat:Should I go to catch the bird?Should I鈥檓 afraid when I get there,the bird will
fly away again.
(With disappointment,the cat is not sure whether go to catch up with the bird who has already keep far from him or not.Grandmother is attracted by Peter鈥檚 shouting and goes out of the house,Finding that there鈥檚 no danger come to her little kid,so she says--------- )
Grandmother:Peter,you see.It is very dangerous here.Don鈥檛 put the duck into the
pool.If a wolf comes,how should you deal with it You鈥檇 better come in the
house to be a good guy..
Peter:I鈥檓 a young pioneer.And I鈥檓 brave enough to be independent.
How can I dare a wolf?
(When finishes taking a comfortable bath in the pool,the duck goes out of the poll and enjoys the warm sunshine on the lawn.A few minutes later.A very big,cruel wolf comes silently.The black cat runs away quickly.)
Cat,Bird:Oh,!Oh!Wolf!Wolf!
Duck:Oh!My dear.The wolf is coming.Let me run quickly.
(However,how can a duck run fast!Look,not a while,the wolf has already caught the poor running duck,and eaten him up.)
Wolf:How I am satisfied!But I still want to catch the bird and the black cat.
(Peter and the grandmother are too far away to save the duck.Luckily,when Peter and the grandmother see what has happened,a good idea occurs to their mind.Peter says to the bird at once.)
Peter:Bird,please fly over the wolf鈥檚 head.You can fly around and around him to
drive him crazy.But you should be careful enough to protect yourself.
(Overwhelmed with grief at the dead of the duck,the bird says OK without any hesitation.She flies to the big wolf bravely and does as Peter said.)
Bird:Wolf.Wolf.Can you catch me?You are a fool!Can you catch me?Catch me!
(The wolf is so angry that he jumps up and down in order to catch the disgusting little bird.At this moment,Peter and his grandfather throw a rope and catch the wolf successfully.)
Cat,Bird,Grandmother:Beat him.Beat him.Don鈥檛 let him run away.
He is very dangerous to our lives!
(At this moment.A group of hunters get to the forest.Listen,they are shooting at the wolf.)
Peter:Oh,no.Bird and I have caught the wolf.Don鈥檛 kill him,please.Let him alive.
(Peter is a kind-hearted boy and he shows sympathy to everyone around him.When he saw the sadness and fear in the wolf鈥檚 eyes,he could not help to asking a favor of the unlucky wolf.But both bird and cat disagree with him.)
Bird,Cat:No!No!He will eat us up some day.We鈥檙e unwilling to lose our lives just
because of your mercy.
Peter:No.If we send him to the zoo,then he will not hurt us any longer.
So,please help me to send him to the zoo.
(Finally,Peter persuades the bird and cat into forgiving the wolf and letting him alive.)
Peter,Grandmother,Hunters,Cat,Bird:Oh!Oh!Let鈥檚 go to the zoo.Let鈥檚 go to the
zoo.Go!Go!Go!
(Now please look at the group:Peter,Grandmother,Hunters,Bird and Cat.They are dragging the wolf and sending him to the zoo.How happy they are!)
