All city parking rules are in effect today and tomorrow. On Sunday, no parking and no standing any time rules remain in effect. On Monday, all city parking rules are in effect.
Gridlock alert for lower Manhattan Friday as Vice President Biden flies in for 9/11 ceremonies from 8 a.m. to noon across from the World Trade Center site. This means freezes are possible along the FDR Drive and several streets in the Financial District. Consider transit with Broadway and West St. receiving much of the diverted traffic. The following streets will remain closed through 4 p.m. Friday; Liberty St. Pedestrian Bridge, Liberty St. from Broadway to Church St., Albany, Thames and Cedar Sts. from Greenwich to West Sts., Church St. between Battery Place and Barclay St., Dey, Vesey, Fulton and Cortlandt Sts., from Broadway to Church Sts. and Barclay, Murray and Warren Sts. from West to Church Sts.
Riverside Drive between 94th and 104th Sts. will be closed Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the 9/11 service.
Mulberry St. between Canal and Houston Sts.; Hester St. between Mott and Centre Sts., and Grand St. between Mott and Centre Sts. will be closed daily through Sunday Sept. 20 from 11 a.m. to midnight for the San Gennaro Feast.
Fifth Ave. between 43rd and 79th Sts. will be closed Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. NYC Central Labor Council Parade.
Third Ave. between 14th and 23rd Sts. will be closed Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the Albano Republic Club-Third Avenue Street Festival.
Eighth Ave. between 14th and 23rd Sts. will be closed Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the Chelsea Midtown Democrats-Eighth Ave. Street Festival.
50th St. between Park and Lexington Aves. will be closed from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.
Lexington Ave. between 42nd and 57th Sts. will be closed Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the Tudor City Association-Lexington Ave. Street Festival.
Third Ave. between 66th and 86th Sts. will be closed Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the Manhattan of Commerce-Third Ave. Street Festival.
Broadway from 43rd to 48th Sts., and Seventh Ave. from 43rd and 48th Sts. will be closed Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for Broadway on Broadway.
On the southbound FDR Drive between 91st St. and 79th St. two lanes will be closed Sunday from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m.
65th St. between Madison and Park Aves. will be closed Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
In Brooklyn, Montague St. between Clinton and Hicks Sts. will be closed Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the Montague Summer Space-Pedestrian Street Event
